Bioswales Channel Rainwater to Sustain a Garden

Constructing a Bioswale

A bioswale is an indention in the earth that channels rainwater to a desired location.

Designed for Beauty and Function

This bioswale is designed not only to let the rainwater seep into the soil and water table naturally, but also to direct run-off to a small rain garden next to a berry garden. The rain garden will not only host its own plants, but will be a repository to supply a portion of water to the main garden.
